When a new piece needs to be produced, many people struggle with where to start.  You have an idea, a concept or information you need to voice and finding the right approach can be daunting.  The best place to start is to find images or artwork that catch the eye and capture your audience’s attention.  Brainstorm what type of images would attract the most attention for your piece and begin your search to find the right artwork.

Here are some resources we use and recommend:

1 – Vecteezy

This site has a wide variety & large library of FREE vector images to download.

2 – Shutterstock

This site has daily & monthly subscriptions. You can set up a free account and every Tuesday download two FREE images, 1 high resolution rastor and 1 vector.

3 – iStockphoto

This site has credits you purchase on an as needed basis & subscriptions if you so choose. You can set up a free account as well and they have freebies on a weekly and monthly basis in many different categories.

4 – VectorStock

This site has credits you purchase on an as needed basis. You can set up a free account as well and they have an antire tab of freebies you can download.

5 – Crestock

This site has credits, subscriptions & single image puchase options. You can set up a free account and get a daily free high resolution image.

6 – Getty Images

This site has single item purchases and subscriptions.  It has been around a very long time, so the collection is very extensive. You can set up a free account and download watermarked proofs of all images before you buy.
