Jon Falk and the rest of the crew at Falk Harrison, not only make time every year to support a local charity, they truly put their hearts and souls in it. Plus, they are fantastic at flexing the (highly talented) muscle of their creative, marketing, social media and public relations experience to support their chosen cause.
Last year, FH did an amazing job collecting shoes for the Shoeman Water Project during their “Giving From The Sole” campaign. This year is no different with their “Cans Can Make A Difference” outreach which collects canned goods for the St. Louis Area Foodbank.
We support many non-profit organizations throughout the course of the year by offering discounts and donating goods/services, but we never seem to have the time or (honestly) energy to devote to an outreach of our own. I’ve always had a ton of respect for how Jon and the rest of the crew at FH are dedicated to helping the community in times of need, so when he asked me if we would be willing to put a collection bin in our lobby, I agreed wholeheartedly.
The collection bin arrived yesterday! I am now reaching out to YOU, our awesome clients, family and friends, to HELP US FILL IT UP…
- If you will be in the area or coming by to pick up an order, please check your pantry (or office lunch room) to see if there are a few can you can bring to drop in the bin.
- If you are feeling really generous, next time you’re at the grocery store, grab a few extra canned goods and drop them by.
- If you don’t have any canned goods, but want to help, pass me a few bucks and I will go out and buy some stuff to put in the bin for you.
- Tell your family, friends, coworkers or even complete strangers about the outreach. You can tweet about it (#CansCan), post on facebook, link to the site on your blog or whatever.
